As Dermatologists, we know that everyone’s skin is different. We work hard to design all Mymiel products with naturally-derived and clinically-backed ingredients that address common skin concerns (e.g. fine lines, uneven pigmentation, inflammation and congestion) across the spectrum of skin types and tones in both men and women. As with any new skincare product, we encourage you to spot test when using our products for the first time, particularly if you have a history of sensitive or irritated skin. All Mymiel products have a shelf life of 2 years unopened and 1 year after opening. Like other skin care products, our products have a period-after-opening (PAO) date that is printed on the packaging. If you turn your Mymiel bottles to the side, you will notice an icon of an open jar with a number inside. This refers to the number of years in which we recommend using the product.
In general, products containing retinol or BHA are not recommended for use during pregnancy, but every person and every pregnancy is different, so we recommend discussing any skincare products with your physician. You can see a full list of all ingredients on our product pages.
Mymiel is cruelty free, and no Mymiel products have ever been tested on animals.

Yes! Some of our products contain ingredients such as salicylic acid and vitamin C that can cause some tingling of the skin when first applied. This is normal and can be more noticeable when you first start using a new product. To help your skin adjust to these new actives, start slowly and don’t forget sunscreen!
It is normal and expected for skincare products containing vitamin C to develop a yellow tint over time. Make sure to keep your product stored in a cool dry place away from light, and close the bottle tightly after each use.
